SAKK Patient Advisory Board

SAKK partnership with patients, patient representatives and patient organizations

Patient orientation is one of the SAKK's core values. We attach great importance to learning about the experience of patients and their families as a way of achieving improved long-term cancer treatments. Our patient advisory board supports the SAKK by advising it on research projects, communications or strategic affairs. Would you like to be involved? Patient representative board member Silvia Müller has died

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the death on 15 February 2017 of Silvia Müller, a member of our patient representative board for many years. We will remember her as a tireless fighter, not only against her own cancer but also with us in the battle against the disease in general. As a valuable member of our patient representative board, she was dedicated to improving the lives of many fellow cancer sufferers. Deeply saddened as we are by her passing, we are profoundly grateful for her courageous contribution to the board’s work. We would like to express our sincere condolences to Silvia Müller’s family, friends and relations and wish them strength at this sad time.
