At the SAKK Board meeting on September 3, 2019 the following experts were elected for the first time:

• Prof. Miklos Pless MD: new SAKK vice president
• Attila Kollàr MD: new president of the Sarcoma Working Group
• Prof. Davide Rossi MD: new vice president of the Leukemia Project Group

We would like to congratulate the newly elected researchers, and look forward to working together with them.

After three years of contributing actively to the SAKK Board, Prof. Viviane Hess MD has decided to step down as vice president. We take this opportunity to thank her for her outstanding dedication for SAKK and to wish her all the very best and further success both personally and professionally.

The SAKK Board is convinced that Prof. Miklos Pless will make an excellent successor as vice president and wish him every success in his new role.
