Clinical research in oncology is not only an important factor in improving therapy, but also contributes to a high quality of treatment.

On June 5, the Patient Advisory Board of the University of Lucerne will be hosting a forum for anyone interested in learning about the opportunities and risks of participating in a trial. This event is aimed at people affected by cancer and their loved ones. It will inform visitors about clinical research in Switzerland, highlight the advantages and risks of the trials, and encourage them to participate in clinical trials.

The event is organized by the SAKK Patient Advisory Board, which also sheds light on the role of patient advisory boards in clinical research.
