The Young Oncology Academy recruits highly promising young oncologists who would like to make an active contribution to clinical and translational research and learn about successfully managing, conducting and publishing a trial.
Over the course of the 2020 program, eight mentors will again be working closely with the successful applicants. Residents at the beginning of their medical career with a clear focus on cancer medicine are eligible to apply. Since 2017, the Young Oncology Academy has also included the fields of hematology or radio-oncology. From now on one resident of either urology, gynecology or dermatology will also be able to join the program.
